Week of 2/26/18

Field Day Shirts

Thursday, March 8 is field day. Each class is assigned a color and Greek city-state. Our color is blue and our city-state is Sparta. On that day, we will all be wearing blue to represent our team. Some of our parents have graciously offered to decorate shirts. If you would like your child to have a team shirt, please send in a blue shirt by Friday, March 2, with your child's name written on the tag. Shirts can be found inexpensively at Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Walmart. If anyone would like to buy an extra shirt for those that can't, we would really appreciate it.

Volunteer!
We are seeking parent support for our library time: Mondays from 12:20-12:45

Here is an opportunity to help our class without a huge time commitment! We need a parent volunteer to aid during our library time which is from 12:20- 12:25 on Mondays. You can help any capacity that you feel comfortable with...
* Read a book to the class
* Assist scholars looking for books
* Check books in and out of the computer system

You do need to be fingerprinted to assist in this capacity. It's not required, but if you would like a quick training on the layout of the library, how to search for books or how to check books in and out of the computer you can contact Shannon Lee at library@archwaylincoln.org.
